FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

FAQs

How do I register?

Visit our enrollment tab and fill out the information to be considered for enrollment. Someone from our office will have to process your registration, and if there is space in your child’s class, we will be in touch to set you up!

What is the teaching philosophy?

We recognize that children learn through curiosity and play. Our role is to foster their creativity and work with their interests. We will always be happy to answer specific curriculum questions.

Where do I go to drop off my child?

Flourish is located at New Life Church (16252 GA HWY 144). Each classroom has a specific door where parents can drop off and pick up. Your child’s teacher will let you know which door to go to.

What should my child wear?

We recommend that children wear clothing appropriate for weather and play. We ask that all children wear close toed shoes since we do encourage outdoor play.

Should I pack a lunch?

We ask that parents provide a clearly labeled snack and lunch for their child. We also ask that parents pack their child a refillable water bottle. Please list any allergies on your child’s enrollment form.

Is Flourish a faith-based program?

Flourish is an extension of New Life Church, a Christian organization. Our goal is for your child to enjoy hands-on learning experiences in a safe and nurturing environment. Our teachers model Christian values in the classroom while teaching from a theme-based curriculum.

What safety measures have been implemented?

Safety is our top priority. All doors will be locked during Flourish hours. Only authorized personnel will be allowed in the building during these hours. We have cameras surrounding the perimeter, as well as in the building for staff access. Parents will drop their children off daily, and only registered contacts will be allowed to sign children out. We use an online system, so if parents need to add an additional authorized pickup contact, they can do so when necessary. We have implemented daily temperature checks, multiple hand sanitizing and washing times, limited contacts inside the building, and additional staff training to minimize risk of infections.

What is your cleaning policy?

Flourish Preschool follows the NAEYC cleaning schedule adapted from the American Academy of Pediatrics.
